All Pros, no Cons

The atmosphere was magical with festive decorations and a historic charm. The staff, and the food was amazing, especially during the buffet!

Location: the hotel was just off Asheville, NC, Black Mountain before the Monte and shops, restaurants and bars. Bakery Hey Hey Cupcake located 1 mi away was a nice surprise. My a double room with a big screen TV, microwave was exceptionally clean.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm. I loved the Milton's restaurant on-site with delicious meals.

For dads, it would be great to have staff available to assist with luggage.

the restaurant's menu was lacking veggies , and the breakfast was disappointing. the cozy outdoor patio was lovely 🍷, the antique features in the room were charming, and the lively bar had great music 🎶.

The bartenders were really good. They took our order on both nights and delivered it outside to us while we enjoyed the lovely patio.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

I had an amazing three-night stay! The food at breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed a lovely dinner in the courtyard. I found that my room was different from the photos shown, as it didn’t include a mini-fridge, which I expected.

Unique vintage-style rooms offer a charming atmosphere that makes you feel the history of the place. With art-infused interiors with pieces from local artists, it brings a personal touch that's hard to find elsewhere.

Lack of a TV in the room might be a downside if you're looking for entertainment. Creaky floors made it hard to get some peace, especially with events disrupting the quiet at times. The shower handle broke and came on by itself in the middle of the night. Plus, no fresh air ventilation since the windows don't open. The breakfast experience was awkward due to limited options provided alongside a conference crowd, leading to a search for food outside the hotel.

It was just a suitable option for taking strolls in Black Mountain with excellent value for money. The staff was very pleasant at check-in, which started our stay on a positive note. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

The rooms are stylish, spacious, and come with the restaurant's menu, plus the beds are comfy; the staff is knowledgeable about the local area.

I loved the vintage architecture and my spotless room, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. The location was convenient, not far from a beautiful park.
